Upsy Daisy

Here are two Upsy Daisy samples.  The first one uses Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper, Crushed Curry and Razzleberry ink, and Melon Mambo card stock and ribbon.  The lower sample uses Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Ruby Red and Whisper White cards stock.  Hurry, Crushed Curry is limited time only.

My Digital Studio Download

If you remember back a few postings, I said I love the new stamp set with all the travel and vintage?  Well wasn't I a happy camper to discover this is now a MDS download.  I really can keep it forever!  Not only will I be able to use it for my travel scrapbooks but can also add to any other project I!  Yipee!  Vintage...travel, oh yes...a very happy gal indeed!   Don't know how to access the downloads?  Go to our website http://www.stampinduo.stampinup.net/ and click on Shop Now, search on MDS and viola' ...you are there.  MDS downloads must be ordered from the website as they are downloads.  Once you do download it, you should "run" (don't save...it will take forever to find the darn thing.) Once you click run, the image will automatically go into the MDS software.  Have another software?  You may simply import it to the progam you do have.

12 Step Program

This is not my idea, but as a Stampin Up Demonstrator, I
certainly NEED this!

 1 - Pull out all discontinued card stock
 2 - Pull out all discontinued ink pads
 3 - Pull out all discontinued refills
 4-  Pull out all discontuned markers
 5 - Pull out all discontinued ribbon
 6 - Put everything is a "Retired Box" ...seal
 7 - Put in the back of a very DARK Closet
 8 - Put NEW COLORS in the open slots including the past
      IN COLORS brought back
 9 - Use one new color each day for the next twelve days
       including past IN COLORS
10 - Fall in love with the new colors
11 - Don't clean out the very DARK CLOSET
        for six months
12 - LOOK FORWARD TO A NEW &
       EXCITING YEAR!

Isn't this beautiful?  I love this stamp set Vintage Friendship.  Everything about this card I think is fab.  All things vintage or travel...my kind of art! I don't remember where I found this sample but it is incredible.  All products are Stampin' Up.

Tropical Party Again...Great Minds

All products are Stampin' Up and uses Tropoical Party from the Summer Mini.  The sample on the left is from Shelley.  She used Whisper White cardstock along with Old Olive.  The card on the right uses Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand, Old Olive and Whisper White.  Isn't it interesting we both came up with basically the same idea.  (No we did not plan that!)  This is what I love about papercrafting, give two people same supplies and watch what happens.

Sentimental Journey...One More Time!

I saved my favorite for the last.  This stamp set is one of my favorites.  It combines the two genres in paper crafting I love, vintage and travel.  If you know me, you know I will never be able to part with this stamp set.

I've asked how I achieved the red on the navy airplane and luggage.  I stamped the image in Night of Navy Ink, then used the Stampin' Write marker where I wanted the 'red' to show.  The blending of the navy and red produced this aged look.

The map was sponged along the edges with Real Red and then I used the Night of Navy stamp pad directly on the paper.  Then I stamped using Itty Bitty Background dots all over for added dimension.  (Sorry Barbara...I truly did not know Stampin' Up would be retiring Itty Bitty Background this year.  I am so sorry to see it go!)
