It's Not Easy Being Green

This month's stamp club swap theme is "It's not easy being green."  course everyone thinks I'm preparing a St. Patrick's Day card...nope, this is a birthday card.  I've used Pear Pizzazz , Garden Green and Whipser White  card stock, the Dots embossing folder, stamp set On Your Birthdy, and four punches.  The ribbon is the new Pear Pizzazz from the Ocassions Mini.

Sizzlit Paper Doily Die

Here's another quick card.  This uses the new Large Sizzlit Die, Paper Doily.  The doily itself may take a few minutes to prepare but it is well worth the effort.  This is Blushing Bride cardtock and ribbon..,.doesn't it look pink?  This is one of the In-colors that will be retiring in June,  It's such a lovely delicate color.

Framelits Dies Storage

As promised, here is the storage container I created to store my new Framelits Dies.  Framelits come in these cute little plastic folders and while they are attractive, I was concerned the Framelits might get bent.  Wish I could take credit for this original idea but I cased it.  Forget where I found it,  but I'm thrilled someone came up with this clever idea.  This is a DVD case lined with DSP. 



I took one of the magnete sheets and cut to fit on the inside and covered the magnet with coordinating DSP.  Then simply placed the Hearts Collection Framelits inside.  So now, they are protected by the DVD case. 

If you are like me, I lose the directions  far more often than I'd care to admit.  To avoid that scenerio, I slid the Big Shot Framelit instructions in the front of the DVD case.  Viola' when I need them, there they are!  Yipee!

Here's the final Ocasions Mini swap I created for my side-line swap.  I used Take it to Heart Stamp set (page 14, #125522 $23.95 clear and #125520 $29.95 wood.)  I also used the new Framelites Dies,(LOVE THEM!)   Heart Collection #125599.  I saw a cool way to store Framelits Dies...come back tomorow to see.

Loving Thoughts & Mixed Bunch

Here's another another swap card I created.  I used Loving Thoughts, page 11 (Occasions Mini) and Mixed Bunch page 17.  I also used the Blossom Punch. 

Loving thoughts contain eleven words:  Memories, Inspire, dream, Imagine, Create, Happiness, Thoughts of You, With Sympathy, Wonderful You and Dare to Dream.  I am of the belief, we cannot have too many words! 

It's Tea Time!

I'm in a 'side-line' swap with each new Stampin' Up Mini Catalog.  This year's Occasions Mini is no exception.  Here's one of the cards I created using Tea Shoppe, page 19 # 125547 $27.95 (clear) or # 125545 $ 34.95 (wood.)  I also used Designer Printed Kit, page 18 # 125410 $9.95.  At first, I flew right by those Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit without really noticing.  We received the kit at Leadership and it is so cool.  Adds just that little something...something to take a cute paper craft up to the next level.  It comes with cute pink rhinestones too.  So much fun!

Wow, look at this.  Brenda found this great card somewhere today.  Love the colors, the use of the Sail Away (soon becoming my favorite stamp set these days.) Tulip Embossing Folder the Banker's Twine and look at the compase...that's from the Open Sea, another great stamp set in the Summer Mini.

Sail Away Swap

Here is one of my swaps for my side-line, Summer Mini Catalog swap.   I love this new stamp set,Sail Away. The cardstock I used was Real Red and Whisper White.  The new DSP Paper, Nautical Expedition.  Ink: Night of Navy, and I used the new Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.
