After spending more than 40 years in the Public Accounting Arena (no, not as a Certified Public Accountant...my degree is in business. I'm the one who handled all the internal accounting functions for the Firm.)
I am now retired, a widow and live in Cumberland Indiana with my twin sister. My sister her husband a few years ago so here we are again...together. I am thankful every day she is here.
While I didn't have any children, my late husband had a grown daughter and son when we married. Sadly, I lost my daughter a few months ago. I was fortunate to have her in my life for almost 25 years. I have five grand-daughters and two great grand-children. I am very blessed.
For fun outside of my love of all things paper crafting, ballroom dancing is another passion of mine.
Along with my twin sister, I share a home with our ten year old rescue dog, Gizmo. We have been his forever home for a little more than a year now. He brings such joy in our lives and is the sweetest little guy. We are so happy he adopted us.
How did I become a demonstrator?
My story is not really much different than most people. I only wanted to become a discount shopper. I took a look at the amount of money I was spending all over the place and it was a pretty simple decision...I wanted the discount. Oh, and I wanted to go to 'convention' that year, 2002. I literally joined the month before so I could register. Kansas City was my first exposure to a wild room of like-minded folks aka crazy crafty people.
I love the way all the products coordinate. I am pretty color challenged as a rule and Stampin' Up makes it so easy for us as demonstrators and makers alike to be successful from the start.
