This is Anita's August SU swap, isn't it amazing? Today is my sister's birthday, I'm using this stunning card for her birthday. (Yes, I'll tell her you made it Anita!)

One more vintage swap
Penny created this little jewel. She said this was her very first attempt at creating anything vintage...I don't know for a first effort, it sure is on the mark! She left the center panel blank so we could fill in the language ourselves. I have several birthdays this month so I'll simply stamp a Happy Birthday on it and viola' I am good to go. Great job Penny!

Vintage Continued
Mary Grace prepared this lovely swap. It's purple so I knew it had to be hers. She used the new DSP in Regals family. Striking, just striking!

August Stamp Club Swaps
Here's is Jackie's Swap (left) Isn't it beautiful? I love how the stamped image flows from the Whisper White to the Night of Navy. The flower on the lower right is difficult to see from the scan, but it is the perfect accent to this card.
The card on the right is Mary Ann's interpertation of Shabby Chic...I'm a vintage kind of girl but am very intemidated by this style. Love it! Guess, I have to just try it. Again, scanning doesn't do it justice. Everytime you look at it, you see something new. Great job!

August Stamp Club Swaps
The next few days, I'll be posting the cards from our August Stamp Club. They are just awesome. Theme in August was Vintage. Here are a couple.
The card on the left was prepared by Anita. Don't you just love the use of coordinating papers? I have to say, it would not have occured to me but I think it's so striking.
Barbara prepard the card on the right and trust me, scanning and posting does not do this card justice. She painstakenly cut out those lamps shades to give depth...those little dangles hanging from the center lamp, lovely.

Shoebox Swap
Here's a swap I'm preparing for a shoebox swap. I've used my favorite stamp set (for now anyway) Artistic Etchings, DSP Newprint, Cherry Cobbler cardstock and ink, binding tape (which looks and feels like cool ribbon to me) and a peral in the Amour. I was challenged to use something current, not anything Halloween or Big Shot (really tough for me.) So what do you think?
